Sleeping Indian Outfitters

Sleeping Indian Outfitters is a small family owned and operated business in the small Wyoming mountain town of Bondurant, about 40 minutes outside of Jackson Hole. Their years of experience in the Bridger Teton National Forest & Gros Ventre Wilderness areas will help you find that big bull elk, show you the beauty of our area from horseback, or help you find the fishing “honey hole” you’ve been looking for. Come spend the day with them!

Sleeping Indian offers the finest in horseback riding, hunting, and fishing with all the beautiful views that Jackson Hole can offer but without the hassle of crowds of people. Their horseback rides are always private so you don’t have to share your Wyoming experience with anyone else.  Their hunts are done with skill and passion so you know you’re going to have the best opportunity you can have.  Their fishing trips are done on some of the best trout inhabited waters you are likely to ever see.

Granite Hot Springs

The Granite Hot Springs Pool is located at the end of the Granite Creek Road, south of Jackson, Wyoming off of Highway 189. It is a developed, concrete hot spring pool situated alongside Granite Creek amongst huge spruce, fir and pine forest. A fee is charged for soaking in the springs, and it can be accessed during the winter months on snowmobile, dog sled, skiing, or fat biking. Facilities include a bathroom, picnic tables, and several informational kiosks.

The Granite Hot Springs Pool is located at the end of the Granite Creek Road and is situated just above Granite Creek Falls. You’ll enjoy a long scenic drive to the pool on a bumpy dirt road. During the winter months the hot springs are accessible only via snowmobile, dog sled, skiing and via fat biking.

There are two different seasons when the hot springs are open, summer and winter.

  • Summer season usually opens late May and ends October 31st. In the spring, make sure to call ahead to confirm they are open, as late snow melt-off can delay the road opening sometimes up to two weeks. Operating hours during the summer are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. After Labor Day hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • The winter season runs from early December until the beginning of April. Operating hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily until mid-February when it changes to 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. until the closing date. During the winter months the hot springs are accessible only via snowmobile, dog sled, skiing and via fat biking.
